What did you order?

Shaniqua:  Premium steak burger on original bun – medium – with pepperjack, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, jalapeños, bacon, ketchup & mustard.  Onion rings.

Strawberri:  Steak burger, original bun, mild cheddar, pickles, mayo, mustard and ketchup.  Fries.

Spinderella:  Steak burger with American cheese and home made mayo on a multigrain bun (medium), half and half (onion rings/fries).

kt:  Premium steak burger (medium) on pretzel bread with American cheese, kosher dill pickles, ketchup and mustard.  Mac & cheese on the side.  Water.

How would you describe your burger?

Shaniqua:  Too thick, but well cooked.  Condiments were good and plentiful.

Strawberri:  Thick and tasty.

Spinderella:  Tasty, yummy, moist

kt:  Too thick and dry.  Pretzel roll was also dry.  Pickles were delicious, but the mac & cheese was yucky.

How delicious was it (1-10)?

Shaniqua:  7 (Onion rings were a 5, least favorite yet.)

Strawberri:  8 (Fries 8)

Spinderella:  8

Was there anything memorable about the food and/or place?

Shaniqua:  Good music, good ice, VERY HARD TO ORDER!

Strawberri:  Great ice, good music, awful décor, lots of choices.

Spinderella:  My first time, had fun with the Pepsi, good ice.  Huge serving of fries/onion rings.

kt:  Pepsi.  Yuck.  Enough said.  Difficult to order, but I liked that it was delivered to your table.

The presentation was FABULOUS!

 

SMASHBURGER NOTES:

What did you order?

Fitz:  Pretzel bun, applewood bacon, sharp cheddar, tomato, onion, lettuce & SmashSauce (ketchup, mustard, mayo & lemon juice).  I would not get it on my burger again.  Got the SmashFries also, good flavor but a little greasy.

Shaniqua:  Spicy Baja – Regular size SmashBurger.  Pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, spicy chipotle mayo, fresh jalapenos on a spicy chipotle bun, with SmashFries. (*note, Miss SH drew a picture too!)

Bonqui$ha:  Small SmashBurger (1/4 lb.), classic, and SmashFries.

AL:  Grilled cheese and fries

Strawberri:  Burger with mustard, ketchup, mayo, pickles, and cheddar cheese on a multigrain bun with sweet potato fries

MareBear:  Small SmashBurger (1/4 lb.), multigrain bun, pickles, ketchup and sweet potato fries

kt:  Small SmashBurger (1/4 lb.), egg bun, Provelone cheese, bacon, ketchup, mustard, pickles.  I also had sweet potato fries, a “side” pretzel bun, and a diet Coke.

How would you describe your burger?

Fitz:  The pretzel was soft and flavorful – definitely recommend it.  I would get the regular smash next time for a slightly larger burger (1/3 lb.)

Shaniqua:  Delicious! 

Bonqui$ha:  AWESOME!  The burger had the “classic” burger toppings and the presentation was great!

AL:  The best yet

Strawberri:  Totally delicious burger!

MareBear:  Delicious!  Went basic and totally forgot cheese, but I still loved it!

kt:  Amazing!  Perfect presentation!  Lightly toasted bun, delicious bacon and wonderful fries!  The pretzel bun was also amazing, I would definitely get it next time!

How delicious was it (1-10)?

Fitz:  8  (I would have given it an 8.5 or 9 if I had omitted the SmashSauce).

Shaniqua:  9  (Fries were a 7, bad ranch L )

Bonqui$ha:  10

AL:  10

Strawberri:  9.5 (Fries were a 9, but the ranch was a 6)

MareBear:  10

kt:  9.5  (only because I’m afraid to give anyone a 10 so early in the game!)

Was there anything memorable about the food and/or place?

Fitz:  It was my first BBBC!  I was a little surprised it was in a strip mall location, but not sure why!

Shaniqua:  Really loved the bun!  Very soft.  Fries were too oily.  It was empty when we got there (11:15am) and was getting crowded when we left.

Bonqui$ha:  So delish!  The fries were slightly intense with the seasoning.

AL:  I got to ride with Baby R!

Strawberri:  All the fun ladies with us, and the food was amazing!

MareBear:  The fries were great!  The ranch was not.

kt:  Very easy to order at the counter.  Beautiful presentation of food.  Super hot outside!!!

What did you order?

kt:  Little cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, and pickles.  Diet Coke & grilled cheese with mushrooms.

How would you describe your burger?

kt:  Fairly thick, well cooked bun.  Toppings were perfect, not too much, not too little.

How delicious was it (1-10)?

kt:  7 (However, my grilled cheese was a 10!)

Was there anything memorable about the food and/or place?

kt:  I love that they serve peanuts while you wait.

AL:  Grilled cheese

Strawberri:  Cheeseburger with lettuce, mustard and mayo.  Fries & fried mushrooms.

Lubster:  Cheeseburger

kt:  Cheeseburger with American cheese, ketchup and mustard.  Fries & fried mushrooms, Diet Coke with lime

How would you describe your burger?

AL:  Good

Strawberri:  Thick and pretty good!

Lubster:  Damn good

kt:  Thick, sesame seed bun, pickles were only in spears

AL:  10

AL:  Lots of pictures (on the walls)

Strawberri:  A’s grilled cheese was a 10+

kt:  Fantastic Diet Coke with limes, A’s grilled cheese was ToDieFor., and we visited a darling/delicious donut shop after lunch… and Miss Shaniqua (Soon to be Mrs. MC(Master of Cow) said “yes to the dress”!

What did you order?

Shaniqua:  Culver’s bacon deluxe w/ American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, lots of pickles, ketchup, w/ onion rings and root beer (*custard for dessert)

Bonqui$ha:  Single cheeseburger with fries & diet Pepsi

AL:  Chicken strips (come on Miss A!!!  It’s BBBC!)

       *Since AL is only 7, we are pretty lenient with her orders!

Strawberri:  Burger with cheddar, ketchup, mayo, mustard and pickles.  Fries w/ ranch, water, and frozen custard

kt:  Burger with cheddar, pickles, ketchup and mustard.  Fries, Arnold Palmer and chocolate frozen custard with brownie chunks

How would you describe your burger?

Shaniqua:  Good, crisp burger, thin.  Bread was too dry and thick. 

Bonqui$ha:  Interesting taste with the butter.  Very rich tasting.

AL:  Good

Strawberri:  Thin

kt:  Thin patty, toppings on the bottom, dry bun

How delicious was it (1-10)?

Shaniqua:  6

Was there anything memorable about the food and/or place?

Shaniqua:  We sat outside, frozen custard was amazing

Bonqui$ha:  Kinda fast-foody atmosphere, outdoor seating was great if it’s nice out!

AL:  We ate outside

Strawberri:  Loved the fries.  Lots of pickles on the burger.  Frozen custard was delicious

kt:  We ate outside in the beautiful weather, and my concrete was amazing

What did you order?

Julie:  Cheeseburger with pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup.  I'm pretty sure American cheese.  French fries and a small root beer.

Shaniqua:  Burger with bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, pickles & onion rings and a small root beer. 

Bonqui$ha:  Single cheeseburger with onions, mustard, pickles & fries and root beer.

Strawberri:  Burger with American cheese, pickles, ketchup, fries & cheese, diet coke.

kt:  Burger with American cheese, bacon, ketchup, mustard, pickles, fries & root beer.  

How would you describe your burger?

Julie:  The burger was thin similar to Steak n Shake, but was much more filling!  The onions were good because they were diced so each bite had flavor

Shaniqua:  Very thin, crispy edges, delicious

Bonqui$ha:  Very good, just enough food

Strawberri:  Ugly but delicious

kt:  Thin burger (like Steak n Shake), perfectly toasted buns.  Delicious.

How delicious was it (1-10)?

Julie:  8

Shaniqua:  9

Was there anything memorable about the food and/or place?

Julie:  I loved the bar top seating and how quick your order came out!  The root beer was excellent, it was so chilled and froze to the glass

Shaniqua:  Friendly manager gave me lots of BBBC suggestions, crabby waitress, very busy/popular, root beer mug was deliciously frosted

Bonqui$ha:  Very tiny, had to fight for seats.  Wait staff want you to eat and move on

Strawberri:  Very quick and good.  No nonsense.  Everyone (cook, waitress, other customers) is very close

kt:  The root beer is phenomenal, the buns are perfect, we saw Ryan Shea.

Strawberri:  Huge and very filling!

kt:  Very thick, dense burger.  Bottom bun got soggy.  Good steak fries.

Shaniqua:  Friendly staff, quiet, not a lot of guests
Strawberri:  That they had ranch!  Mushrooms were amazing

kt:  How friendly the manager was, how nothing has changed about that place, and how delicious the grilled mushrooms were!
