Deep Burger Thoughts.

I wanted to share a "deep thought" with you... my very few readers...

I don't ever try to be rude, mean, ignorant, or hurtful on this blog... On the contrary, I try to be very honest and transparent in my own reviews.  I have eaten WAY too many burgers over this last year, and therefore my 'burger palate' has become much more discerning I suppose.

I realize there are times that we bring in a large group, but I do my best to give the restaurants a heads up (while some of them STILL decide not to mention that Sundays are Brunch only...grr...)  I also stand behind the fact that our "ranking sheets" speak for themselves, and service is a HUGE factor in the success of a meal/ BBBC meeting!

I love to support local businesses, and will continue to do so.  On behalf of the entire BBBC, I want to thank each and every person who owns/operates/works in a local burger-slinging-establishment!  Kudos to you all!  Thank you!   This club would not be here without you guys!

What did you order?

Doug E. Fresh: Medium Burger with bacon, cheddar

Juicy Lucy:  Burger w/ white cheddar, bacon, egg, cooked medium rare

NB:  Lettuce, tomato, cucumber – from garden out back

J-Mo:  White cheddar with bacon

JC:  Veggies

Fitz:  Burger w/ white cheddar, bacon & egg.  Pomme frites. 

9:  Burger, cheddar/bacon

Two Napkins:  Burger – med. Rare – bleu cheese w/ carmalized onions

Jason:  Burger

JO:  Med. Burger + cheddar, mushrooms, onions

Jazzy Jeff:  Burger w/ egg & bacon

The Awesome One:  Bleu cheese w/ bacon, med/well

Hamburgler:  The burger (medium well) white cheddar, carmelized onion

K-Ron:  5 Burger – white cheddar, bacon, egg!!!  (*She gets VERY excited about eggs.)

P-Diddy:  Burger + shitake (pickled) mushroom, egg (I think there was cheddar, but I don’t remember)

Beaner:  Burger with mushrooms & egg

How would you describe your burger?

Doug E. Fresh: Loved it, Flavor

Juicy Lucy:  Delicious.  Temp was perfect.  Bacon salty, and the egg made the burger!

NB:  n/a

J-Mo:  Very tasty and good presentation.

JC:  Fresh (*the veggies… not the burger)

Fitz:  Burger was HUGE, bacon was amazing, egg killed it- bun was on the dry side. 

9:  Good

Two Napkins:  Done well, but the brioche bun, which I was excited about was SOOOOOOO dry.

Jason:  Avg.

JO:  6+ (average)

Jazzy Jeff:  Cooked perfectly. 

The Awesome One:  Really good.  Good bacon.

Hamburgler:  Great presentation / pretty / a bloody mess when cut / yummy / a little stiff.

K-Ron:  Good.  Not the best, dry bun, useless sprouts. 

P-Diddy:  Excellent drunk burger.  A little dense.

Beaner:  Perfectly cooked!  Marinated shrooms just ok.

kt: Not my favorite - but the temperature was perfect.

J-Mo:  Good people

JC:  Yes, all the company

Fitz:  We got our burgers at 10:48pm L 50^th BBBC!  Amazing cupcake burgers!

The Awesome One:  The music was magnifico. 

Hamburgler:  Place was personable / quaint / music needs a kick in the pants though. 

K-Ron:  The egg was muy delicious, but overall unmemorable.  L

P-Diddy:  Best 50^th EVER!

kt:  I cannot believe this is our 50^th meeting! WooHoo for the BigBitchesBurgerClub!  The partay at Beaner & 7’s house was killer!  And Beaner’s cupcakes kicked butt!
