SUGARFIRE NOTES:
What did you order?
Doug E. Fresh: Brisket cheesesteak (*SOMEONE thinks he is
above ordering burgers…)
kt: Single Burger with American cheese, pickles
and bacon. With a side of fries.
Yoga Foodie: Single with fried egg
½ Pound Curler: Double cheese burger & fries
How would you
describe your burger?
Doug E. Fresh: Brisket covered in cheese and green peppers
kt: The burger was above average, the homemade
pickles were perfect, and the bacon was amazing – but it tasted more like beef
jerky (which I LOVE), and it didn’t work very well on the burger… it was too
chewy.
Yoga Foodie: Average, solid burger.
½ Pound Curler: Meat was tasty and well seasoned, the bun was
fresh
How delicious was it
(1-10)?
Doug E. Fresh: 8
kt: 6
Yoga Foodie: 7
½ Pound Curler: 6
Was there anything
memorable about the food and/or place?
Doug E. Fresh: Great sandwich with very good sides
kt: Very crowded on a Sunday night, and they have
weird off-brand soda here. I guess it is
a house brand – and some people love it –but I was really craving a Diet
Coke!
Yoga Foodie: Good honey badger sauce, and good price.
½ Pound Curler: Soggy fries L
Roughly how much was
your order?
Doug E. Fresh: $8
kt: $4.50 (burger)
Yoga Foodie: $10
½ Pound Curler: $7.50
Average service score: It’s an “order at the counter and find a
table” joint, so service scores aren’t really fair! However, that being said, the kitchen/grill
staff got the food out very quickly!
